Communication

An important part of our work is communicating our findings with those who need them the most, to ensure our research has the maximum impact.

  • Our Discovering BabyTalk outreach programme ensures our key messages reach families, relevant third sector organisations and the general public.

  • Our LuCiD for Professionals programme disseminates evidence-based information to health and education practitioners, and will provide a platform to elicit feedback and facilitate networking to share best practice.

  • Our researchers publish their findings in open access resources and present their research at relevant conferences. In doing this, they ensure that ongoing intellectual progress is accessible for all, furthering our understanding of how children communicate with language.

  • Our researchers also provide policy makers and commissioners information about the causes of poor language growth, the importance of early intervention, and how to choose the best evidence-based practice.
