Charlotte Jones
LuCiD Centre Manager
A bit about Charlotte Jones
I have an undergraduate degree in linguistics from the University of Manchester, an MA in language education and I was also a primary school teacher for a number of years, all of which have led to an interest in child language development.
Prior to taking over the LuCiD centre manager role, I managed a number of UK and EU-funded research consortiums, investigating topics including dialect differentiation in Romani, Roma migrations, urban multilingualism and radicalisation.
My Role in LuCiD
I oversee the day to day operations of the Centre and coordinate the impact and communications strategy. I'm based in Manchester, but provide support across the LuCiD network.
