A special thank you to our expert Jean Gross (LuCiD Advisory Board Chair) for her invaluable insights and support in selecting these top posts.

Best Overall: Leone Buckle's "Now you see me, now you don’t! Can children learn language during online interactions?" captured the top spot, with its engaging title and real-world relevance.

Best Post-doc: Liam Blything's two-part series, "Our pronoun project is hotter than a Texas summer", lassoed readers with its wit and extended metaphors, exploring complex topics with clarity and humour.

Best Intern/PhD Student: Jessica Knight's "Journey from LuCiD Intern to aspiring researcher" provided a refreshing perspective on the challenges and triumphs of early career development in speech and language therapy, resonating with readers through its relatable anecdotes and practical insights.

Leone will be awarded £100 and Liam and Jessica will both be awarded £50 in vouchers. More good news - we will award the blog prize again for the best three blogs submitted to feature on the LuCiD website in 2024!
