Community Statement

The ESRC International Centre for Language and Communicative Development (LuCiD) is a research collaboration working with partners from across the world to transform our understanding of how children learn to communicate with language and deliver the evidence base necessary to design effective interventions in early years’ education and healthcare.

The Centre is committed to serving the needs of our stakeholders (researchers, practitioners, the public and policy makers), inclusive of role, career stage, theoretical orientation, methodological practice, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, physical appearance, ethnicity/race or country of origin, religion, disability or neurotype, and political views. LuCiD expects all of our staff and students, along with anyone who attends our events or communicates with us in other ways to treat each other with mutual respect.
