Come along to our free family fun day at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool on Saturday 16th June and discover more about the science behind the way we learn to communicate with language.
Join child language researchers from the LuCiD and the Walker team for hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations, all linked to how children learn to talk. Take part in storytelling and rhyme times sessions, have a go on an eye tracker and find out what the most common first words are- they might surprise you!
Answer burning questions such as, Why do children make funny mistakes when learning to talk? and How do children learn new words?. There are activities for the whole family, so why not come along and Meet the Scientists!
Date: Saturday 16th June, 11am - 4pm
