This year's Stockport Early Years Improvement Team conference took place yesterday at Bredbury Hall Hotel, Stockport. The conference supports practitioners' ongoing understanding of effective practice in Early Years teaching, with a focus this year on Literacy Development. LuCiD's Anna Theakston and Elena Lieven led a workshop exploring the development of young children's conversation and narrative skills, looking specifically at how they develop a coherent narrative and the ability to take on the perspectives of others in conversations.
