Call for Abstracts

After four highly successful LCICDs, and after having to cancel it last year, we are back for 2021 with the virtually-held LCICD 2021!

We are inviting abstract submissions for talk or poster presentations. As before, when it was held live in Lancaster, the conference is single-track, with high visibility poster sessions in their own designated time slots. Once again we hope for lively interactions between all attendees, from early-career PhD students to senior researchers.

Abstract submission deadline: 1 April 2021

We plan for 20-minute talks, and 5-minute poster videos, to be pre-recorded, with the presenters able to answer questions during and after their presentation. Virtual poster sessions will allow for lively interactions, much like in a real poster session. Unfortunately, we will not be able to serve our usual delicious food though.

Keynote speakers:

Gaia Scerif, University of Oxford, UK

Natasha Kirkham, Birkbeck College, London

Stefanie Höhl, University of Vienna

Abstracts should be no more than 300 words + references with optional figures and graphs. We invite abstract submissions from all areas of infant and early child development (age range: pre-natal - 4 years). Full details for submission can be found on the conference website http://wp.lancs.ac.uk/lcicd/ .

This three-day conference will run from Wednesday 25 August until Friday 27 August early afternoon UK time. The conference will focus on research in infant and early child development and reflect the breadth of methods used in this field. Once again we aim to bring together scientists engaged in cutting edge research and PhD students who are starting their scientific career, as well as to provide an opportunity for training of PhD students and junior researchers.

Hoping to see you virtually in Lancaster in August!
