Help us understand how different settings monitor children's language development

We are currently running a project investigating how people working in early years settings monitor children’s language and communication development. We have designed a short questionnaire which asks about the tools and methods people are using and a little about their opinion on these methods. Any questions can be skipped and all answers are kept completely anonymous

We know that it can be very difficult to identify young children at risk for speech and language impairment. The aim of this research is to identify and evaluate the tools which can be administered by people in contact with young children (health visitors, early years educators, parents) which will enable them to monitor language development and identify if children are falling behind. The first part of this research is this questionnaire; this is designed to identify what tools are currently being used and if these tools are easy to learn and administer.

Complete the questionnaire.
