A bit about Soumitra Samanta
I am a Research Associate at the University of Liverpool. Prior to this, I completed my M. Tech and PhD in Computer Science from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and MSc in Applied Mathematics from Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, India. My research interests include Computer Vision, Image Processing and Machine Learning.
My Role in LuCiD
My project developed a computational model to understand language from visual information.
